Worship Ministry Qualifications
Committed Christians
Each person involved in the Worship Ministry needs to have been a solid Christian for at least one year. You must be living a Godly life, have a daily time of devotion and be faithful in the giving of tithes and offerings to Heritage Church.
Committed to Heritage Church
Each person must be confident that Heritage Church is to be his or her spiritual home. You must go through the membership classes offered and become a member of Heritage Church.
A clear call of God to be part of the Worship Ministry
We want to build with people who are enthusiastic and empowered by God to serve in the area of worship. Worship should be practiced and personally experienced by all that desire to be a part of the worship ministry. Corporate worship should overflow from a private, daily encounter with God.
Character
Members are required to have Biblical attitudes to serve and a willingness to submit to one another. Because the worship ministry is a high profile serving and leading role, your lifestyle must be Christ-centered and authentic on and off the platform.
Musical talent committed to excellence
We ask that you be clearly gifted in the area of music. You don’t have to be a superstar, but you must have basic abilities and the heart to work hard at pushing your musical gifting. We may assess this gifting by auditions and interviews.
Team Synergy
To flow together as a team requires weekly/bi-weekly rehearsals. It is extremely important that you be punctual to all rehearsals. We don’t want to be rushing around before service. Instead we want to have time to prepare our hearts and minds for what the Holy Spirit wants to do through us.
Presentation
Our goal is to have a team who will express their worship with a joyful, uninhibited enthusiasm.
Passionate worship is contagious! Our purpose is to bring focus upon God, not draw attention to ourselves, so we ask that you dress modestly so that no one is distracted or offended by your appearance.
